“The fairest among mortal women.”

Helen belongs not only to the story of Troy. Her name runs through Greek epic like a spark capable of igniting desire, war, memory, and destruction.

The Ἑλένη earrings are dedicated to the woman whose beauty became legend: a beauty luminous enough to be celebrated by men, and dangerous enough to become entangled with the fate of entire kingdoms.

Asymmetrical and entirely made of stainless steel, they are available in both gold tone and silver tone.

One earring features a delicate branch inspired by laurel wreaths, from which hangs a small golden apple, recalling the Judgement of Paris and the choice that, in the mythological tradition, placed Helen at the centre of the conflict that led to the Trojan War.

On the other side, a luminous white freshwater pearl evokes the radiant imagery traditionally associated with Helen in epic poetry, while a rose represents her beauty in its most ambivalent form: delicate, seductive, almost perfect — and yet capable of hiding thorns.

Helen is not merely the most beautiful woman in the world.

She is a reminder that beauty can be a force, and that what enchants us can also carry consequences far beyond anything we could have foreseen.

Two different earrings to embody two sides of the same figure: glory and blame, light and danger, desire and consequence.

The Roots of the Myth 🌿

Helen in Greek epic tradition

Although Helen is not a protagonist of the Odyssey, she belongs deeply to the world the poem recounts: the Trojan War, its heroes, and the difficult journeys that followed their return from Troy. In the Odyssey, we encounter her in Sparta, where she has returned with Menelaus, when Telemachus arrives at their court.

The golden apple evokes the famous Judgement of Paris, an episode belonging to the wider Trojan mythological cycle rather than directly to the Odyssey: the apple awarded “to the fairest” became one of the most enduring symbols of Helen's beauty and of the chain of events traditionally associated with the Trojan War.

The white pearl draws on the poetic tradition of describing Helen through imagery of radiance and beauty, while the rose is a contemporary reinterpretation — not a specifically Homeric attribute, but a symbol of beauty in its most alluring and dangerous form.

This piece also draws from the contemporary visual language of epic cinema while remaining rooted in the ancient mythological tradition.
