SHIPPING METHODS

My shop is located in Italy. I ship worldwide.

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.
I ship to EU, US, Canada via DHL Express, UPS Express or FedEx Express.
I ship to the rest of the world via tracked and signed service by Poste Italiane (international registered mail).

  • France: 2-3 business days
  • Germany: 2-3 business days
  • Italy: 1-3 business days
  • Portugal: 2-4 business days
  • Spain: 2-4 business days
  • The Netherlands: 2-3 business days
  • United Kingdom: 2-3 business days
  • North America: 2-10 business days
  • Rest of Europe: 12-15 business days
  • Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 4-6 weeks
  • Asia Pacific: 3-6 weeks
  • Latin America and the Caribbean: 4-7 weeks
  • North Africa and the Middle East: 4-6 weeks
  • Sub-Saharan Africa: 4-6 weeks

I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.

 

CUSTOMS AND IMPORT TAXES

When a package ships internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are typically due once the package arrives in the destination country. Depending on the country, the buyer may be required to pay these charges at the time of delivery, or L'acchiappasogni jewelry may be required to collect the tax at checkout and remit it to the tax authorities. 

There are two types of taxes charged when goods are imported into a country: customs fees and VAT (or similar tax).

Customs fees are placed on physical goods that are imported into a country from another country or territory. These fees are applied to international sales, but never domestic (unlike VAT, JCT, GST, SST, HST, QST or similar tax, which can be applied to both goods imported into a country and goods sold locally). 

In general, the buyer is responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. In some countries, L'acchiappasogni jewelry is obligated to collect those as VAT on imported goods and to pay this over to the tax authorities

Most customs charges are due once the package arrives in the destination country. The amounts can vary widely and are often based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.

US & Canadian customers + EXTRA-UE customers:
there is a concrete possibility to pay any import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country.
Canada Customs in particular have strict controls and rules about international shipments and extra duties may apply.

I'm not responsible for delays due to customs procedures and extra duties applied.

 

TRACKING INFORMATIONS

Once your order is shipped, you will automatically receive a shipping confirmation email. If tracking information is available for your order, please allow at least 48 hours for the tracking link to activate as it needs to be scanned through into the postal system.

End-to-end tracking is not available in all regions, and information will not update during customs processing. We do not have access to further tracking so please consult your local postal service quoting your tracking number if you need further assistance.

HOW TO FULLFILL YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS
Before placing your order please ensure your address contains the following informations:

  • recipient full name (name + surname)
  • street name and number/house name and number
  • other useful details (such as apt. number, attn. etc.)
  • ZIP code, town/city, country, state
  • telephone number

NOTE. If you are located in US or Canada, kindly note that private couriers need a physical address: you should provide a physical address at checkout, PO BOX and APO/FPO are not allowed.

 

WHY PHONE NUMBER IS REQUIRED
I ship via DHL or UPS to lots of countries around the world, and these couriers require recipient phone numbers.
This is useful in case of necessity to contact the recipient (wrong/incomplete adrress, recipient not at home etc.) and it is also useful for the recipient to customize the delivery, such as to authorize delivery without signature or for other delivery options.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS

  • All items in your order will be shipped together.
  • A signature may be required upon delivery.
  • Dispatch Monday - Friday
  • If tracking is available for your order, it will be provided via email upon dispatch of your order. Please allow 48 hours for tracking to become active. Not all regions offer end-to-end tracking with international registered mail.
  • Please note that these time framed are estimated only and are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed service has been selected. Please allow up to 60 working days for all international deliveries. Parcels will not be considered lost until this time has been allowed. Once your order has been shipped it is out of my control. If you haven't received your order in this time, please contact me within 28 days.
  • I am happy to accept custom orders. As soon as I have enough information on your request, I'll provide you with a price quote and estimated date the product will be shipped prior to getting started on the piece. The estimated ship date is what it states, an estimate. With handmade items and a small shop, unforeseen circumstances can arise and I do ask for your flexibility in these times.
  • If you have a specific deadline for your order, please make sure that you select an express guaranteed service and contact me to inform about your requested deadline.
  • Brazilian/Mexican/African Customers: please know that packages shipped to Brazil, Mexico & Africa may be stopped for a long time at brazilian, mexican & african Customs, this is an aspect I can't manage or control, and totally depends by your country postal service. Delivery may be completed after 40 BUSINESS days or more.

Due to actual shipping restrictions I'm not able to offer shipping to the following countries:

Albania, Argentina, Cuba, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Malaysia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Ukraine, Russia.

If your package takes too long to arrive, if you can't track it or even lost, please contact me first, before leaving a negative feedback. I conduct a fair trade business, always ship on time and provide good packaging. If mishap takes place, postal services screw up and the package is lost - for my part I will try to do my best to help you find where your package is now.

 

As many of you, I also buy online quite a lot, and I realize that sometimes there are delays and situations that a seller can not control. On my side, I'm always in touch, I'm always willing to help, so I'd grateful if you won't rush with a negative feedback if your parcel takes long to arrive.

Please, try to understand that shipping times are out of my control.
