"Gorgoneion" Medusa Choker Necklace

This choker necklace is inspired by the tragic story of Medusa, one of the three Gorgons, originally a beautiful woman transformed by Athena into a monster with snakes instead of hair, and whose gaze was able to petrify. Perseus is sent to kill her, and succeeds in the enterprise guided by Athena, decapitating her.

The necklace is composed of a 14k gold plated stainless steel chain and a ring worked in 14k gold plated stainless steel from which hangs the Gorgoneion, the severed head of Medusa, together with an emerald green crystal glass drop. The peculiarity of this necklace is that the clasp is on the front, visible, and not on the back.
